Paul Taylor Dance Company Settles Sex Discrimination Lawsuit

Paul Taylor Dance Foundation Inc. has resolved a former costumer’s sex discrimination and familial status bias claims.

Judge Ronnie Abrams of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the claims without prejudice Nov. 9 after the parties notified the court of the settlement. The docket is silent on the terms of the agreement. Plaintiff Barbara Delo’s counsel, Larry Pearson of Wigdor LLP, said he “cannot comment on the terms of the parties’ agreement, which are being finalized.” Counsel for the dance company didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
