An exploding blender gifted by tequila-maker Patrón injured a Cincinnati bartender, she alleges in a lawsuit filed Tuesday against the tequila-maker and blender manufacturer.
Noelle Miranda was making a drink for a guest in July 2021 with the Oster Whirlwind Blender, a promotional item featuring the Patrón logo provided to her employer, Amigos Bar and Patio, according to the lawsuit filed in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court. As she blended, and while the blades were rotating, the glass pitcher shattered, the suit states.
