Parker-Hannifin Denied Redo in 401(k) Benchmark Appellate Loss

Parker-Hannifin Corp. failed in its effort to have the Sixth Circuit reconsider a decision reviving litigation over its 401(k) plan fees, which the company disparaged as abolishing standards established by the court’s prior rulings.

The US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit denied the technology company’s petition for rehearing before a full slate of the court’s judges in a two-page order issued Wednesday. Judge Eric E. Murphy, who dissented from the 2024 opinion favoring the Parker-Hannifin workers, would have granted the petition for the reasons stated in his dissent, according to the order.
