A 58-year-old White man filed a federal lawsuit against his former employer, 
Attorney Joseph E. Jerome alleged Oct. 31 he was terminated and replaced with younger and non-white employees, despite his qualifications and experience, as part of Paramount’s efforts to improve diversity and attract younger viewers.
Jerome worked as production counsel for “Entertainment Tonight” for 20 years, he said, and had worked at Paramount and its predecessors for roughly 30 years by the time he was let go.
Paramount didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.
