Paramount, CBS Layoffs Violated NY WARN Act, Lawsuit Says

Paramount Global was sued Thursday for violating the WARN Act when they terminated about 300 employees without providing the required 90 days advance written notice.

The complaint, filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges Paramount and CBS Interactive violated the New York Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act when they terminated Hagins and some 300 other employees on September 24, 2024, without providing the required 90 days’ advance written notice.
