Papa John’s Drivers Seek Final Nod for $20 Million Wage Deal

Papa John’s International Inc. and delivery drivers who say the company’s reimbursement policies pushed their wages below state and federal minimums asked a federal judge to sign off on a $20 million settlement.

The settlement class includes more than 50,000 pizza delivery drivers, and the recovery is actually “higher than the value” of their mediator’s proposal, according to documents the workers filed in support of their final settlement approval motion in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Thursday.
