Two men convicted of illegally making AR-15 rifles for commercial sale lost their appeal bid Wednesday after failing to convince a federal appeals court their Second Amendment rights were violated by laws prohibiting their conduct.
Federal law prohibiting unlicensed commercial gun manufacturing doesn’t violate the right to keep and bear arms or meaningfully constrain would-be purchasers from obtaining them, according to the opinion issued by the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
