Speech Group, Pseudonymous Members Can Sue Oklahoma University

Speech First Inc. had standing to sue Oklahoma State University on behalf of its members, despite using pseudonyms instead of the members’ real names, the Tenth Circuit said Friday, reversing the district court’s ruling.

Speech First, a national free speech organization on college and university campuses, said that the harassment, computer use, and bias policies adopted by OSU chilled its student members’ speech.
