OrthoConnecticut PLLC failed to protect the personal information of 118,000 people that was exposed in a data breach, a proposed federal class action said.
Eberto Rodriguez alleged that the Connecticut-based provider of orthopedic services breached its duties under common law, contract, and industry standards to implement reasonable and adequate data security measures and failed to provide timely and adequate notice of the incident.
