The United Network for Organ Sharing was hit with a proposed class action lawsuit alleging it failed to protect organ donors and recipients from a 2023 data breach.

Organ donor Lisa White filed a complaint in the US District Court for the District of Eastern District of Virginia Thursday on behalf of a proposed class that White said could be in the millions.
