An Oregon county and state government officials have prevailed in a lawsuit brought against them in federal court by a former district attorney who claimed he was improperly ousted from his position.
Eric Nisley filed suit in July 2021, and in an amended complaint accused Oregon Attorney General Ellen F. Rosenblum and Deputy Attorney Frederick Boss of wrongfully using their offices to remove him from his position after he was suspended by the Oregon State Bar.
Wasco County officials allegedly aided and abetted the scheme to “overturn the will of” the voters.
