Oregon Gun Magazine Capacity Limit Lawsuit Proceeds to Trial

Oregon and gun advocates are preparing for trial to begin June 5 over a now-blocked initiative to limit the size of gun magazines to 10 rounds with a federal judge denying summary judgment motions.

Judge Karin J. Immergut, of the US District Court for the District of Oregon, denied the state’s motion for summary judgment and plaintiffs’ motion for partial summary judgment, finding the case “implicates both important and unsettled questions of law.”
