OpenAI, Mixpanel Face Class Action Lawsuit Over Data Breach (1)

A California resident sued OpenAI Inc. and Mixpanel Inc. on Monday for allegedly failing to protect personal information that was exposed in a November data breach affecting thousands of users.

Jon Woodard alleges in a class action complaint the companies violated their duty to safeguard user data when hackers accessed names, email addresses, locations, operating systems, browsers, referring websites, and user IDs.
