OnlyFans Operator Dismissed From ‘Chatter Scam’ Class Action

The operator of OnlyFans convinced a federal court to dismiss it from a false advertising lawsuit that alleged the adult social media network allows creators to substitute authentic relationships with chatter agencies.

The plaintiffs told the US District Court for the Central District of California that OnlyFans publicly states visitors should expect authentic relationships with creators of sexually oriented content but does nothing to stop those creators from using agencies to manage direct messaging—a “chatter scam.”
