Online Education Provider Can’t Shake Meta Info Sharing Suit

Colibri Group LLP failed to convince a federal judge to toss a proposed class action alleging the continuing-education provider shared the video-watching histories of consumers with Meta Platforms Inc. and TikTok Inc. in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act.

Lead plaintiffs Tracey Damrau and Danielle Oshea alleged that Colribi incorporated Meta and Tiktok tracking pixels on its websites, allowing the tech companies to collect information arising from consumer interactions there, including the names of videos they watched.
