One Point HR Solutions Employees Advance Data-Breach Lawsuit

Kentucky-based staffing provider One Point HR Solutions LLC must face a proposed class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of nearly 23,000 current and former employees in a 2023 data breach.

The three lead plaintiffs alleged concrete injuries that were sufficient to establish their standing to sue in federal court, and sufficiently stated claims of negligence, breach of implied contract, unjust enrichment, invasion of privacy/intrusion upon seclusion, and violations of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act, Judge Danny C. Reeves of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky said Monday.
