Omnicom Group Spared From Fired Executive’s Age Bias Lawsuit

Omnicom Group Inc. won’t have to face discrimination and retaliation allegations from a fired former executive of the marketing and corporate communications company.

Renee Cassard’s amended complaint fails to properly state a claim against the publicly-traded company, Judge Jennifer L. Rochon of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said, dismissing the case with prejudice. The judge also permanently dismissed several allegations made against Cassard’s former supervisor.
