Ohio Teachers Pension Board Can’t Immediately Change (Correct)

An Ohio appeals court refused to halt a trial judge’s order blocking a law that changes the makeup of the teachers pension board.

The trial judge’s Sept. 17 temporary restraining order obtained by current and former Ohio teachers will remain in effect in the short term, the Ohio Court of Appeals, 10th District said Tuesday in a one-paragraph journal entry.

The ruling is another victory for the current and former teachers who sued on Sept. 16 in Franklin County Common Pleas Court to block a law from going into effect that increases the number of political appointees and reduces ...
