Ohio Teachers Pension Board Won’t Immediately Change Amid Appeal

An Ohio appeals court refused to immediately halt a trial judge’s order blocking a law that changes the makeup of the teachers pension board.

The trial judge’s Sept. 17 temporary restraining order obtained by current and former Ohio teachers will remain in effect while the Ohio Court of Appeals, 10th District considers whether to overturn it, the intermediate court said Tuesday in a one-paragraph journal entry.
