Amos Jones failed to state a plausible claim under the 1871 civil rights law his suit cited, the US District for the District of Columbia said. His claims relating to Ogletree’s conduct while representing Campbell University in the job discrimination lawsuit were too conclusory, and his allegations regarding Ogletree’s supposed responsibility for a December 2020 racist attack on a Black church were “utterly implausible,” the court said. ...
