New York University Law School graduate Gideon Rapaport failed to cite any examples before Second Circuit judges Friday showing that leniency granted to self-represented litigants should apply to him, as a law student that passed the bar.
Rapaport, who in 2022 worked as a summer associate at Kirkland & Ellis, is appealing dismissal of his defamation case alleging Ajay Iyer and Zachary Garrett, both former presidents of the NYU chapter of the Federalist Society, spread rumors online that he was fired from the summer job and barred from the firm’s premises for sexual harassment.
