NYC’s La Grand Boucherie to Face Servers’ Tips, Costs Claims

Servers at La Grande Boucherie LLC in New York may proceed with their claims that they weren’t properly paid their tips, weren’t paid for call-in time, and had to buy their own uniforms, a federal court said.

The servers alleged that on three specific dates, the restaurant’s records showed that it collected more tips than it paid to them. They also alleged that managers who weren’t servers were allowed to share their tips.
