NYC Transit Lawyers Can Both Use Same Attorney at Job Bias Trial

A pair of New York City Transit Authority attorneys challenging their promotion denials as job discrimination may continue to use the same lawyer, a federal judge ruled.

The NYCTA, the Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority, and NYCTA executive assistant general counsel Gregory George failed to show, at least for now, “the existence or potential of an unwaivable conflict” in the dual representation, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York said.
