Manhattan judges on Tuesday revived New York City taxi drivers’ lawsuit challenging a city program that aims to increase the number of for-hire vehicles.
The New York Taxi Workers Alliance has shown it could suffer actual injury if the city’s pilot program—which aims to allow more than 2,500 additional for-hire vehicles to use otherwise-idle street-hail livery licenses—is allowed to move forward, the New York Supreme Court First Appellate Department said.
