NYC Equinox Trainers Granted Settlement in FLSA Wage Lawsuit

A class of trainers who worked at Equinox gyms in New York City received initial approval Tuesday on a settlement to resolve claims that they were shortchanged on overtime pay.

The Fair Labor Standards Act collective, led by Monique Katz and Yekaterina Skidanenko, was granted preliminary approval of their proposed settlement agreement with Equinox Holdings Inc., according to Judge Dale E. Ho’s order in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
