New York Republicans filed a lawsuit challenging New York City’s largest rezoning effort since the 1960s, saying it violates state and city environmental review laws.
The New York City Council and Mayor Eric Adams (D) violated their environmental obligations by “failing to take a ‘hard look’ at significant areas of environmental concern,” says the lawsuit filed Tuesday in Staten Island Supreme Court.
