A former New York Presbyterian Hospital employee failed to state a claim that supported his Title VII religious bias case, a US magistrate judge said, recommending dismissing of the suit.
Kevin Kauffman alleged that in denying him an exemption from a Covid-19 vaccination requirement and ultimately firing him, the hospital discriminated against him under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
