Two New York-area hospital operators don’t have to face religious discrimination claims by three nurses who say they lost their jobs because they were unlawfully denied faith-based exemptions from the state’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate.
The ruling Monday by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York follows the Second Circuit’s holding that employers aren’t required to break other laws in order to comply with Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
