A New York judge on Friday tossed Texas’ lawsuit seeking to enforce a fine against a doctor who remotely prescribed abortion medication.
The medical services New Paltz, N.Y., physician Maggie Carpenter provided are legal in the state and fall “squarely within the definition of ‘legally protected health activity,’” under New York law, Ulster County Judge David Gandin wrote.
