NY Educator’s Title IX Challenge to Sex Harassment Probe Revived

A New York school district must face an agriculture educator’s claim that his Title IX rights were violated during the investigation of a student’s sexual harassment allegation, the Second Circuit ruled Friday.

The alleged incident occurred while the educator was visiting Schoharie Central School District’s campus in the “Mobile Maple Experience,” a trailer he developed that included educational presentations on the use of maple sap to make syrup and other products, the court said.
