Transcripts from the criminal trial of former President Donald Trump will be made available on the New York court system’s website, the Office of Court Administration announced Monday as opening arguments kicked off.
Current law in New York restricts the broadcasting of trial proceedings, and courtroom space for the public is “very limited,” said Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas. “The release of the daily transcripts on the court system’s website is the best way to provide the public a direct view of the proceedings in this historic trial,” he added.
