New York State’s court system laid out plans to increase access to virtual court proceedings and expand e-filing in its annual court modernization progress report released Monday.
Substantial progress has been made to modernize the courts over the past year, including the rollout in certain courts of the NY-Virtual Court Appearance Platform for virtual court proceedings, but “there remains much work to be done,” the New York Unified Court System’s Court Modernization Action Committee said.
