NuScale Power Allegedly Concealed Contract Fulfillment Issues

NuScale Power Corp. and four top executives allegedly misled investors about the company’s ability to fulfill large contracts involving a carbon-free power project and blockchain mining, a shareholder class action lawsuit says.

The company, which develops small modular reactor technology meant to deliver carbon-free power, allegedly concealed the impact of inflationary pressures on construction and power costs, as well as the financial health of partner Standard Power, according to the complaint filed Tuesday in US District Court for the District of Oregon.
