Nurse Managers Claim Humana Violated FLSA, Owes Overtime Pay

Health insurance provider Humana Inc. faces a proposed collective action alleging it didn’t compensate nurse case managers for their overtime hours.

Lead Plaintiff Monica Maxwell-Dillard brought a Fair Labor Standards Act collective action Tuesday, claiming she and other hourly employees in similar positions are not allowed to report more than 40 hours of work per week, according to her complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
