Numotion, a medical equipment manufacturer, faces refreshed allegations that it failed to protect the personal health information of its customers in a data breach that it gave notice of in March 2025.
Numotion, also known as United Seating and Mobility LLC, conducted an investigation with third-party cybersecurity experts into several email accounts that someone improperly accessed from September to November 2024, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.
