Norwegian Cruise Line Sues Florida for Barring Proof of Vaccines

Florida’s ban on requiring customers to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination violates federal law, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. says in a complaint filed Tuesday in federal court.

The state’s law against collecting vaccine documentation is an “anomalous, misguided intrusion” that may force the company to cancel upcoming cruises, “inflicting irreparable harm of vast dimensions,” the company says. The lawsuit was filed against the state’s surgeon general in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
