Northrop Grumman Sued for Labor Breaches in California PAGA Suit

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. is facing a lawsuit brought under California’s unique labor law, the Private Attorneys General Act, by a former employee.

Austin Carroll, who worked for Northrop as a composite bonder from May 2018 until September 2024, brought the suit Monday in California Superior Court, Los Angeles County.

The complaint alleges Northrop Grumman failed to provide required meal and rest breaks, overtime pay, timely wages, reimbursements, and proper wage statements, among other violations. Carroll seeks civil penalties under the Labor Code of $100 per aggrieved employee for initial violations and $200 per aggrieved employee for subsequent violations. He ...
