IT services provider CompassMSP LLC failed to convince a federal court to dismiss a lawsuit filed against it by its client Northeast Spine & Sports Medicine LLC over a 2024 data breach that exposed the personal information of the orthopedic medical practice’s patients.
Northeast Spine adequately pleaded breach of contract, contractual indemnification, and contribution claims, Judge Zahid N. Quraishi of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey said Thursday.
