North Dakota’s attorney general won’t face claims in a challenge to a state law that makes it illegal to knowingly publish false information in political advertisements.
Attorney General Drew Wrigley (R), as well as the North Dakota Ethics Commission and its director, Rebecca Binstock, are entitled to Eleventh Amendment sovereign immunity, said Judge Daniel M. Traynor of the US District Court for the District of North Dakota.
