A North Carolina law firm sued a Colorado competitor for using the name “Beer Law HQ,” which is allegedly confusingly similar to its trademarked “Beer Law Center” name.
Matheson & Associates PLLC claims Whitcomb Selinsky PC has violated federal laws that guard against trademark infringement, false designation of origin, and unfair competition, and is seeking to stop the alleged copying. The complaint also asserts similar claims under Colorado law.
