Nonprofit’s Bid for State’s Voter List Sent Back Over Standing

The Fourth Circuit on Friday tossed a lower court ruling mandating South Carolina’s Election Commission share its list of registered voters in the state with an out-of-state election integrity nonprofit.

The case was sent back to the lower court to make findings on the Public Interest Legal Foundation Inc. standing’s to sue under the National Voter Registration Act of 1993.
