Nokia Settles Bias Lawsuit by Employee Who Criticized Chinese 5G

Nokia of America Corp. settled a lawsuit by a Chinese American former employee over age 40 who claimed he was fired because of his national origin and age after he knocked the Chinese government’s 5G capability, Illinois federal court records show.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois entered an order Monday denying as moot Nokia’s motion for a protective order and sanctions against Yigang Cai as well as pending motions by Cai.
