A Colorado Springs church member failed to win reinstatement of her lawsuit filed against a city police officer and others, claiming his conduct breached congregants’ constitutional rights.

The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit on Monday said plaintiff Candace Sgaggio had failed to state a claim, affirming a trial court’s dismissal.
