NJ Seeks to Advance Pregnancy Center Probe Despite SCOTUS Ruling

New Jersey is pushing forward with its investigation into a crisis pregnancy center’s donations, even after the US Supreme Court said in a 9-0 ruling Wednesday that the center could sue in federal court to stop the probe.

In a letter filed with the Superior Court of New Jersey Thursday, Attorney General Jennifer Davenport (D) urged an Essex County judge to unfreeze a state case and resolve the enforceability of New Jersey’s subpoena that’s seeking information on a clinic’s donors, among other things.
