NJ Ghost Gun Law Survives Out-of-State Buyer’s Challenge (1)

It’s against the law to assemble ghost guns in New Jersey, even if the parts were purchased in a state where that transaction is legal, a Garden State court ruled Tuesday.

Defendant Malihki X. Oliver argued that his conviction under the state’s statute governing the manufacture of guns without serial numbers couldn’t stand because he purchased firearm kits from a legal gun show in Pennsylvania.
