Race discrimination claims against security company Brink’s should be sent to arbitration, a New Jersey state court ruled Monday
An agreement signed by the plaintiff onboarding with Brink’s “clearly demonstrates its intent to establish a mutually beneficial relationship through alternative dispute resolution, and plaintiff—as a prospective employee—was sufficiently informed of its purpose and scope, given the opportunity to consult an attorney before signing, and allowed to opt out without affecting his employment status,” the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division said in its unauthored opinion.
