A New Jersey appeals court pushed back Tuesday against an employer trying to avoid liability for injuries caused by a convenience store worker that got into a car crash while grabbing pizza for coworkers.
The facts of the case occur daily across America: the worker was told to stay on the clock, his boss knew he’d leave the store, and the pizza was to be shared among the staff.
