A challenger to diversity-reserved leadership positions at the New Jersey Bar is seeking US Supreme Court review over DEI decisions that impact who controls state legal organizations.
New Jersey attorney Rajeh A. Saadeh said he’s petitioning the high court to take his case after the New Jersey Supreme Court refused to review a novel decision blocking his challenge to the New Jersey State Bar Association’s diversity quotas. The state high court’s rejection opens the pathway to seek federal review over an issue which anti-DEI activists have longed to bring before the nation’s high court.
