Nike Sues Sneaker Influencer Over Counterfeit Goods, Trademarks

Nike Inc. has sued Eben Fox, a social media influencer who goes by Cedaz online, for allegedly promoting and selling counterfeit products on YouTube, TikTok, and Discord servers.

“Fox is the ringleader of an organized counterfeit trafficking community based on Discord, where he and his associates operate Discord servers as marketplaces,” the complaint filed Dec. 15 in the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida alleges. The athleisure company also says Fox “has already inspired multiple copycats who seek to replicate Fox’s misdeeds and public stunts in social media posts.”
