Nike, ‘Shoe Surgeon’ Agree to Settlement Over Trademark Dispute

Nike Inc. and the Los Angeles-based sneaker customizer it sued for trademark infringement agreed to a settlement resolving a year-old dispute over the so-called Shoe Surgeon‘s use of Nike shoes and logos, court records show.

Entities affiliated with the “Shoe Surgeon” agreed to pay the sneaker giant an undisclosed sum of money as part of the confidential settlement terms, according to a proposed consent judgment filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
