Nigerian Shell Employee Gets Bias Trial Over Inclusion in Layoff

Shell Pipeline Co. failed to cite a legitimate reason for including a Black operations technician in a workforce reduction and must face trial on his race, color, and national origin discrimination claims, a Houston federal judge ruled.
